Rib Stitches & Fringe-Intermediate Chunky Hand Knitted Blanket 4/1 10:30am

Only 8 left!

If you’re ready to move on to a new stitch pattern for your hand knitted chunky yarn blankets, join Stacey to learn a couple of different rib stitch patterns that are fun and easy to do. In this class, she’ll also show you how to add fringe to your blankets to take them to the next level.

**Required for class: Please purchase your yarn ahead of time and bring it to class with you. Below are some suggestions on quantity and what to purchase. The number of skeins varies depending on the size of stitch you make, so I would purchase one or two extra. You can always return what you don’t use.

Where/what to purchase (choose only one option, watch for sales and free shipping)

Michaels Craft Store- Bernat Blanket Big, size 7 jumbo yarn- 6 skeins

(Pro-Pack online includes the best price but you get 12 skeins and online only. It's enough yarn to do two blankets. It's a nice quality yarn with great color options)

Joann Fabrics- Bernat Blanket Extra Thick, size 7 jumbo yarn- 3 skeins

(this skein has 2.25 the amount of yarn of the others. Watch for sales and "order online, pickup in-store" 20% or 25% discounts on the app to save the most on this yarn)

Hobby Lobby- Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss, size 7 jumbo yarn- 7 skeins (best price when 30% off every other week, watch for free shipping online)

FOR FRINGE: Purchase several skeins of regular sized yarn (not jumbo) that color coordinate with your jumbo yarn blanket. Looks for the clearance yarn or even dollar tree for these skeins. I like to add different textures in the fringe, so don’t be afraid to experiment with that.
